Kohistan Journey does not verify every traveller or trip. Review profiles carefully and use good judgment before meeting or traveling with people you meet online.
We do not check identity, driving, vehicles, accommodation, insurance, or whether a trip happens at all.

Travelling safely
Kohistan Journey helps travellers find each other. It does not check anyone or anything on this list.
What we do not verify
- Who somebody is. An account proves an email address works, nothing more.
- Vehicles, their condition, or whether anyone can drive the route.
- Road, weather, or permit conditions, which change quickly in the north.
- Accommodation, bookings, insurance, or payments of any kind.
- Whether the trip happens at all, or happens as described.
Before you go
- Meet in a public place the first time, before any travel is booked.
- Tell someone you trust where you are going, with whom, and when you expect to be back.
- Agree transport and cost arrangements before departure, not on the road.
- Check current road, weather and permit conditions from an official source yourself.
- Never post identity documents, bank details, or anything you would not show a stranger.
- If something feels wrong, leave. You owe no one an explanation.
- Report anything that concerns you. Reports are private and do not block anyone.
In an emergency, contact local authorities using a number you have verified yourself. We do not publish emergency numbers, because a wrong one costs more than no number at all.
