About Passu Cones

The Cones sit above Passu village near the Batura and Passu glaciers, their layered rock catching dramatic light at sunrise and sunset. The village below is a common overnight stop for travellers heading toward the Khunjerab Pass, and a suspension bridge across the Hunza River gives close-up views of the glacier tongue.

Passu village is a small Wakhi-speaking settlement that has grown around trekking and highway tourism.
