About Ayubia National Park
Ayubia protects one of the better surviving pieces of moist temperate forest in the region, and its best-known feature is a level walking track laid along an old water pipeline between Ayubia and Dunga Gali. That track is what makes the park unusually accessible: it is flat, shaded and walkable by almost anyone, which is rare for forest of this kind. The park supports common leopard among other species, though sightings are not something to plan around. Proximity to Murree and Islamabad means it can be busy at weekends.
